Resources to Support Your Child

In addition to keeping our children physically safe, it is also equally as important to care for their mental health and emotional well-being. It’s normal for children and young people to feel worried or anxious at times. We’ve all experienced sudden changes in our lives and routines – and currently we’re living with lots of uncertainty about the coming weeks and months. For some children, the current situation may also worsen or trigger anxieties children were already struggling with. Within school, through our Recovery & Response programme we will endeavour to target particular areas which will support children through this period of uncertainty.

At Oakmeadow, we are lucky to have a highly experienced pastoral team who together have a wealth of knowledge in many areas associated with mental health and emotional well-being as well as having the expertise and experience to signpost you to relevant agencies, who too are there to support with a range of difficulties that as families we may encounter with our children.
