Welcome to Bumblebees.

Your class teacher is Mrs Griffiths.

Your teaching assistants are Mrs Patterson and Mrs Bennett.

This Spring our topic for the second  half term is Spring into Life looking at seasonal changes and growth . We hope this topic will excite the children when we look at our Caterpillars growing and developing in front of our eyes. We will also be finding out about the life cycle of plants  - growing seeds and then planting them in our garden.

If your family are keen gardeners and have any spare seedlings, please help us to improve the EYFS Rainbow Garden with vegetables and fruit plants. We will be sending out some Easter Homework which was very successful last year. Take a look at our Recycled Rainbow Homework below.

We are keen to keep encouraging the children to develop a love of the outdoors and outdoor learning. With this in mind, we would be grateful if you could ensure that your child has a pair of wellies and outdoor waterproofs in school at all times.

Termly Topic: PE this half term: Important Dates:

Now your child has started to learn phonics and is starting to read please practice their tricky words and listen to them read at home for 10 minutes every day. Please help your child put these in the allocated box for checking and changing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We have sent out Activelearnprimary.co.uk log ins in the front of your child's reading diary. If you have any trouble logging in, please let us know.

We believe in the children learning about being fit and healthy and so on Friday we will be doing the Fit15 on our running track. Our PE day is Wednesday, and this term we will be indoors/outdoors with Miss Turner. We recommend that you leave your child’s kit in school and we will send it home with them at the end of each half term for a wash.
