Owls

Welcome to Owls Class
Welcome to Owls Class page. We are one of two Year 5 classes, the other one being Badgers class next door. We work closely together to provide a curriculum of rich learning opportunities and to prepare pupils for Year 6.

On this page you will find more information about our learning experiences and useful links.

Our topic this term is the 'rainforest', and will encompass much of the learning we do in English, Science, Geography and Art. We are currently reading 'The Explorer' by Katherine Rundell, so some of our 'letter writing' in English has been based on this. In science, we will be linking much of our work on 'Living Things and their Habitats', to life in the rainforest, and this will be extended in Geography through looking more closely at the climate and the characteristics of the rainforest environment.

Please do pop in and see us if you think you could contribute to our learning, or if you would like to find out more.
